A case of death of a couple has come to light in Bathinda. The incident is from Jujhar Singh Nagar. The deceased has been identified as Sukhdeep Singh (27) and his wife Sukhm Kaur. Sukhdeep was a resident of village Gidar, while Sukhm Kaur was a resident of village Khyali Wali.

The incident is of street number 1/4. When their daughter arrived at the couple’s rented house, the door was found closed from inside. The police was informed about this. SHO Daljit Singh and DSP Sarabjit Singh Brar reached the police station on the spot.
DSP Brar said that preliminary investigation has revealed that Sukhdeep first killed his wife. After this, he committed suicide by hanging himself. The team of Forensic Lab has been called for a thorough investigation into the case. The police is investigating the case from various aspects.
According to the landlord, the family came here some time ago. The police will take further action after investigating the case.
