A tree fell between strong winds and rain in Amritsar.
India Meteorological Department (IMD) Chandigarh Center has issued a warning regarding serious weather conditions in many districts of Punjab. By 5 May 2025, there is a possibility of strong winds (40–60 km/h), thunderstorms, lightning and dusty thunderstorms.

At the same time, in Amritsar, Gurdaspur and Pathankot last night, there was strong winds and dust storms and rain also occurred at a speed of 20 to 30 km. Due to which there has been a drop in temperature. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of squall -like conditions in Patiala, Mohali, Taran Taran, Amritsar, Gurdaspur and Pathankot districts during the next few days, which may exceed 80 km/h.
This condition can become a threat to crops, raw houses, trees and electricity lines. People have been advised to be vigilant and stay in safe places.

Temperature condition
