Four-five military personnel, including an officer, were injured when a military vehicle collided with an officer in Ladakh’s Durbuk. The rescue operations by the Indian Army’s Fire and Fury Corps continue, while road accidents have increased due to heavy rains and snowfall in the area.
An officer and 2 jawans were killed and an officer and 2 jawans were seriously injured in the accident due to collision with a rock of a car in Ladakh’s Durbook. Officials further stated that the incident took place at around 11:30 am and the rescue operation is going on. The Indian Army’s Fire and Fury Corps posted on X saying that a road accident: A large stone fell from a rock on a vehicle of a military convoy in Ladakh on 30 July 2025. Rescue work is going on. Ladakh has been receiving heavy rains and snowfall for the last few days, which has increased road accidents in the region. A few days ago, a similar incident came to light, in which two people were injured by the vehicle in which they were traveling.

Later, the Fire and Fury Corps of the Indian Army rescued both people and sent them to a hospital in Karu for further treatment. Humanitarian aid: A civil car carrying two people near Pang in Ladakh crashed. On July 23, in a post on X, Fire and Fury Corps reported that the passengers were injured when the vehicle overturned. It was said that the soldiers of the Fire and Fury Corps provided timely medical assistance to the injured and successfully recovered their vehicle. He was taken to Karu’s hospital for further treatment.
