Pakistan made a cowardly attempt to disrupt the Indian parliamentary delegation’s visit to Malaysia, citing Islamic solidarity, but Kuala Lumpur rejected the intervention. The Pakistani Embassy had allegedly urged the Malaysian officials to cancel the program of the Indian delegation, but the request was rejected and the delegation got full support. According to media reports, Pakistan had made a lot of effort to prevent Indian delegation in Malaysia, stop their programs and for this it was a maneuver of ‘Hum also Muslims, AAP Muslims’. But Malaysia rejected Islamabad’s interference in India and Malaysia’s relations in clear terms.

Trying to stop Malaysia visit
The Indian delegation was headed by JDU MP Sanjay Jha and included BJP MP Aparajita Sarangi, Brij Lal, Din Barua and Hemang Joshi, TMC’s Abhishek Banerjee, CPM’s John Britas, Congress leader Salman Khurshid and former diplomat Mohan Kumar. The report said that Pakistan tried to raise the Kashmir issue to derail the journey, but it could not succeed.

India’s anti -terrorism campaign
Along with Malaysia, the delegation also visited Indonesia, South Korea, Japan and Singapore. The tour was part of a major attempt by seven Indian delegations sent abroad, which aims to highlight Pakistan’s role in terrorist attacks on Indian land and to present India’s stance after the Pahalgam terrorist attack. Along with this, the delegation also mentioned India’s campaign Operation Sindoor in response to terror. The team led by Sanjay Jha returned to India. During his visit to Malaysia, the delegation met the leaders of the People’s Justice Party (PKR), including former minister YB Sim Tazhe Tzin in the cabinet of Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammed. The Indian side underlined the objectives of Operation Sindoor and confirmed India’s zero-oppression policy towards terrorism. The delegation informed the Malaysian officials about the accurate attacks under Operation Sindoor and emphasized India’s new general situation in responding to terrorist threats from across the border.
