Horrible incident in Ludhiana, scooter mechanic was thrown in the middle of the road, missing death

A scooter mechanic was murdered in Ludhiana. Three days after the murder, the police have registered a case against an unknown person. So far, the police have no clue. The deceased has been identified as Balwinder Singh alias Chhinda resident of village Dhurkot. He used to run a two-wheeler repair workshop in Nathowal village.

The younger brother of the deceased, Jaswinder, said that on May 8, Balwinder had a quarrel with an unknown person. It is suspected that the person killed his brother while coming home the next day. The police have registered a case under section 302 on the complaint of the deceased’s brother. The deceased has left behind two sons and a wife.

Jaswinder Singh, a resident of village Dhurkot, said that his brother has a motorcycle repair shop in village Nathowal. Usually his brother left home around 9 am and returned late.

He said that his brother had gone to the workshop on his motorcycle on May 9 at around 3 pm. He was told by his nephew that Balwinder was lying seriously injured on the road between Nathowal and Dhurkot. The brother had severe head injuries and was bleeding. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Raikot, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Jaswinder said that his brother was going back to his home in Dhurkot after closing his shop around 9 pm when unknown assailants attacked him. Sub-Inspector Kamaldeep Kaur, Head of Police Station Sadar, said that in this regard, a case has been registered under section 302 (murder) against an unknown person at Police Station Sadar Raikot. He said that the police have not been able to trace the accused yet and the matter is being investigated.
