In the case of murder in Mansa, Mansa police arrested the accused within 24 hours. The accused had attacked the entire family while having a love affair. The accused had a love affair with Gagandeep, due to which he attacked Gagandeep’s family. Karamjit Kaur died in this attack. In this case, the accused Harmel Singh, a resident of village Such (Bathinda), has been arrested by the police and further action is being taken.
Giving information, SPD Manmohan Singh Aulakh said that a woman Kamaljit Kaur was murdered on Kot Lallu Road yesterday. In this case, two people are being treated. They said that the accused Harmel Singh, who is a resident of Such village in Bathinda, had a love affair with Gagandeep Kaur’s nan Happy Kaur, due to which Harmel Singh felt that Gagandeep’s entire family was becoming an obstacle in his love affair.

Following this, he attacked the family going to Khokhar Khurd on Kot Lallu Road in Mansa with a kapa, in which Karamjit Kaur died on the spot, while Gagandeep and Kamaljit Singh were referred to another hospital for treatment. He said that further action is being taken by the police after arresting the accused.
