In Nishat area of Srinagar, a woman was recently attacked by 4 alcoholics and then raped and murdered her. There is resentment across the country after the matter came to light, although there is a part that is blaming alcohol for this murder and rape. On this matter, Hina Khan has now given a befitting reply to those convicting alcohol. The actress says that demons are in every religion and community, who are looking for opportunity, in such a situation, alcohol should not be held responsible for it.
Hina Khan shared a long post in the official X platform and wrote, will anyone tell the difference between rape and physical abuse to these idiots. There is rape, rape and murder, murder. Physical abuse can be described separately, but this rape is just a sign. This only means that the criminal could not do so, not that the criminal did not do so. A rapist blames everyone other than himself. Do not behave like that criminal. Do not use alcohol to give the criminal to run for free. Do not justify rape. Do not justify sexual harassment either. Not in the name of religion, community, geography or dress.
Further, Hina Khan has written, these demons are present everywhere, every community, in every religion. In search of an opportunity. Alcohol causes many things, but it does not make a good man rapist. Stop blaming alcohol. A rapist is nothing short of a killer. The time has come when we talk about what happened, not to break the words because it was done by a Kashmiri Muslim and do not blame alcohol for our agenda.
Along with this, Hina Khan has written, there are more cases of rape by people in the world less and without drugs. This is a job of thinking not alcohol. Stop this duplicity. I do not support alcohol, but I have a problem that people are blaming alcohol for this different act.
