CM Himanta has several times accused Elizabeth, wife of Gaurav Gogoi, of Pakistan’s connection to ISI.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday alleged that Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi’s wife takes salary from an NGO in Pakistan while living in India. His wife and children are not Indian citizens. Also asked Gogoi in ‘X’ post- did you go to Pakistan for 15 days.

CM Himata replied while replying- I, my wife and the whole family are Indian citizens. Never went to Pakistan. We cannot even think of taking salary from Pakistan. Evidence of Gogoi and his relations related to Pakistan will be made public by 10 September 2025.
