This claim has been made by the State Government’s undertaking Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board (HPSEB). In fact, Kangana had made serious allegations against the state government in a public meeting in Mandi yesterday. Kangana said, in Manali last month, I paid one lakh rupees electricity bill, where she does not even live.

According to HPSEB, in the bill paid by Kangana on March 22, 2025, Rs 32 thousand 287 was February, Rs 58096 was a March bill. A bill of Rs 90 thousand 384 was given to the century by mixing surcharge. The Electricity Board also clarified that the connected load of Kangana’s residence is 94.82 kW, which is 1500 percent more than the power load of a normal housing.
Kangana did not pay the electricity bills from October to December last year on time. The electricity bills of January and February were also not given on time.
How much bill in December The electricity bill of October, November and December 2024 of Kangana’s residence was Rs 82,061, which was paid by Kangana on 16 January 2025. Electricity bills of January and February were paid on 28 March 2025, with a total consumption of 14,000 units. Kangana’s monthly consumption ranges from 5,000 units to 9,000 units on average.
HPSEB clarified that the subsidy given by Kangana on electricity bills by the Himachal government is also being taken continuously. In this way, in the bill of February 2025, Kangana has received a subsidy on a monthly electricity bill of Rs 700, while most of the CMs, ministers, MLAs and most of the officers of Himachal have left subsidy.
Electricity board requested to pay the bill on time The Electricity Board has urged all the electricity consumers of the state to pay their electricity bills on time so that the power consumer does not have to face any kind of inconvenience about the electricity bills coming due to this. Payment of electricity bills on time saves both power consumer and electricity board employees.
