High Court on a land pooling policy, government arguments not manufacture of government arguments

Today, on August 7, the Punjab and Haryana High Court hearing the Land Pulling Policy in the second day. The court has banned the policy. The arguments in court did not agree from the arguments. The Punjab Government has been asked to file an answer in 4 weeks. The court orders will be released soon. After that the whole situation will be clear.

Petitioner’s lawyer Charanpal Singh Sangeri informed the media outside the court. This public intestine petition, a person living by Ludhiana had filed through his lawyer.

The lawyers said he gave several arguments in the court. The farmers said that when the country was distributed in 1947, farmers had to suffer. There was nothing with them so far. Some people in the Land Pooling Policy in Mohali has not found plots yet. The court asked the when 65,000 acres of land would go under Land Pooling, what will happen there if there would be of the grower grower? And what will the future of the farm laborers working there?

The government’s lawyers also argued in his favor. The court said the government had two options – either he returned to this policy, or the court would reject it. However, public advocates said he would discuss the matter and file relevant answers. In the end, the court had given the government four weeks to file an answer.

During the hearing, the court raised two important questions. The first question was whether Environment Assessment Study Study has been conducted for this policy. The second question was what other dependent arrangements are for the rehabilitation of other people depending on the ground.

On this, Advocate General Maninder Singh Grewal sought time to file a reply from the court and said the policy would be suspended from August 7 and no further action would be taken away.

The court also said that the “Resident Welfare Association Vs Chandt Administration” has made it clear that the environmental influence evaluation is necessary before the urban development. The Punjab Government also made some ministers to the land pooling policy. Which was asked in the interests of the farmers.

The petition was filed in the High Court by the Petition Ludhiana Resident Guidelip Singh. They are a farmer and his own land was coming under this policy. In such a situation, he had challenged the land pooling policy by farmers and landowners.

He argued that the central government has been made clear rules for the achievement of land and the state government could not change these central laws. The High Court had accepted their petition.

The Punjab Government was improved in the Cabinet Policy in the Cabinet meeting of the Punjab Government. Accordingly, the government would give Rs 1 lakh annually in the farmers to land in land pooling unless he is posted to the plot. If this is delayed, the amount will increase 10 per cent each year. At the same time, farmers will be able to cultivate it until the field is not developed.

The Chief Minister said that we have scored a plan for the farmers who have been acquired less than one acre. They will be given plots for it. If a person does not want to take a commercial plot, his residential area will be extended. Under this scheme, the land will be given to the farmers in exchange for the land.
