The district police arrested 15 smugglers in nine various cases and recovered heroin, drugs, opium, drug money. A case has been registered against all the accused under the NDPS Act. In the first case, ASI Sukhwinder Singh of Police Station Dharmakot said that on the information of the informer, a person was stopped and searched in village Nurpur Hakiman and 150 grams of heroin was recovered.
The accused has been identified as Sukhwinder Singh resident village Nurpur Hakiman. In the second case, ASI Kuldeep Singh of Thana Dharmakot said that the police party arrested two people with 200 drugs in village Kishanpura Khurd. Police arrested accused Ravinder Singh and Kishanpura Kalan, resident of Indrajit Singh. In the third case, ASI Sartaj Singh of Thana City South said that the police have recovered half a kilo of opium from the vehicle riders in the village Chadik. The accused Neeraj, Rahul, Abhishek resident Jaipur have been controlled.
In the fourth case, ASI Binderpal Kaur of Baghapurana police station said that on the information of the informer, a woman was stopped and searched her belongings in village Mahla Kalan and 30 grams of heroin and Rs 1200 drug money was recovered from it. The woman has been identified as Baghapurana, a resident of Chinder Kaur. In the fifth case, ASI Kashmir Singh of Baghapurana police station said that the police team arrested Kotla Mehar Singh Wala, resident of Harpal Singh in village Rajyana with 32 grams of heroin and Rs 1600 with drug money. In the sixth case, the police station City South ASI Nahar Singh said that on the information of the informer, a woman in the police station area was stopped and searched her belongings, 10 grams of heroin 1000 drug money was recovered. The police have arrested the accused Naina resident of Sada Wali Basti. In the seventh case, ASI Gurpreet Singh of police station Bandhani Kalan said that the police team arrested Sukhpreet Singh resident village Rasulpur in village Lopo with 10 grams of heroin and Rs 1200 with drug money. In the eighth case, ASI Santosh Singh of police station Bandhani Kalan said that the police party has arrested Pratap Singh and Gurjit Singh resident village Rauke Kalan on the basis of suspicion in Bandhani Kalan on the information of the informer. In the ninth case, ASI Pritam Singh of Thana Nihal Singh Wala said that the police party stopped Dharm Singh, Gursevak Singh resident Bandhani Kalan and searched them in village Beed Rauke and 40 intoxicating bullets, 10 grams of heroin and 2000 rupees drug money were recovered. The accused arrested in the case of drug smuggling are being questioned from where they had bought intoxication.
