After Akshay Kumar’s production company filed a case and returning Rs 11 lakh, including interest, Paresh Rawal recently confirmed in an interview that he is returning to Hera Ferry 3. The film has been in the news since May, when Paresh Rawal announced to be out of the film through an X post. Two days later, Akshay Kumar sued him for obstructing the shooting and demanded Rs 25 crore as compensation.

Paresh Rawal’s conversation about Hera Ferry 3
When Paresh was asked about the controversy over Hera Pheri 3, he denied that there was such a controversy. ‘There is no dispute. I believe that when people like something so much, they should take extra precautions. This is our responsibility towards the audience. The audience has appreciated you a lot. You cannot take things lightly. Work hard and give it to them. So my opinion was that everyone should come together, work hard. Apart from this, nothing else. When he was asked again whether everything is fine now and whether the fans would see the three in the film, Paresh said that even before, this cast had to work together in the film. ‘Earlier there was to be one, but we just had to resolve ourselves (laughing). After all, they are all creative, whether it is Priyadarshan, Akshay or Sunil. He has been friends for many, many, many years. ‘
Hera Pheri 3 controversy
There were reports that Paresh Rawal left the film due to his creative differences with director Priyadarshan.
Explaining his point, Paresh Rawal wrote on X on 18 May, “I want to keep on record that my decision to stay away from ‘Hera Pheri 3’ was not due to creative differences. I reiterate that there is no creative disagreement with the filmmaker. I have immense love, respect and faith in Shri Priyadarshan.”
Just two days after his exit, Akshay Kumar’s production company filed a case of Rs 25 crore against Mr. Rawal for obstructing the shooting. Akshay is also the creator of Hera Pheri 3, he has legally bought from its rights producer Feroz Nadiadwala.
Following the legal quarrel, Paresh’s legal team announced that the actor had returned an amount of Rs 11 lakh to Akshay’s production company with 15 percent interest.
The experienced actor wrote on X, “My lawyer, Amit Naik has sent a proper reply about my correct dismissal and exit. Once they read my reply, all issues will calm down.”
