Paresh Rawal’s sudden drop from Hera Pheri 3 has been a great disappointment for fans of this franchise. The fans want him to play his role of Baburao again, but Paresh Rawal even called his character a “noose” in a conversation with The Lallantop. Akshay Kumar is busy promoting his upcoming film Kannappa these days. He shared some new information on the ongoing dispute. He assured everyone that he is confident that everything would be alright.
Paresh Rawal’s character Baburao, who plays a bridge between Raju (Akshay Kumar) and Shyam (Sunil Shetty) in Hera Pheri films, fans liked a lot.
Akshay Kumar assured the fans and said that everything is not over. The actor expressed hope about the future of the film, saying that he hoped that things will be cured. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Akshay said, “Whatever is happening is happening in front of you. I am crossing my fingers. I hope everything will be alright.” He further said, “Everything will be fine. I know sure.”
Rawal’s decision to leave the film shocked both fans and his co-stars. The actor earlier announced on X that he was moving away from ‘Hera Pheri 3’, but clarified that there were no creative differences with director Priyadarshan.
Talking to mid-day, he said, “I love Priyadarshan and trust him very much and trust him as a director … No money can last ahead of my audience’s love and respect. Now, I felt that it is a role that I don’t want to do, that’s all.” After his exit, reports came out that Akshay Kumar’s production banner sent a legal notice to Rawal, claiming compensation of Rs 25 crore.
Pooja Tidke, a joint managing partner of the Parinum Law Associates representing Kumar’s banner, told PTI, “Spending on shooting of artists, crew, senior actors, logistics, equipment and trailer.” Responding to the legal notice, Rawal tweeted on 25 May, “My lawyer, Amit Naik has sent a proper reply about my dismissal and exit. Once they read my reply, all issues will be calm.”
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar is set to make his Telugu film debut with mythological fantasy ‘Kannappa’, playing the role of Lord Shiva. The film will be released on 27 June 2025, which is the lead role of Vishnu Manchu and the lead role of Mohanlal and Prabhas.
