Healthy women, strong family campaign will give a dream of women empowerment

The Health Department has taken important steps towards women’s health protection and their empowerment. Under this, a ‘healthy women strong family’ campaign will be launched across the state from Wednesday i.e. 17 September to 2 October. It will be launched on the first day at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS). As part of the campaign, camps will be organized at all types of government health centers along with the district hospital. In this camp to be held up to a fortnight, people (mainly women) will have free health check -up and will be advised.

There will be free facility for women in blood pressure, sugar, mouth, breast and uterine home cancer in the camp. Also, the facility of testing anemia and consultation will be given to patients. Tuberculosis (tuberculosis) examination will be facilitated for physically weak and unsafe women. This camp will also have facilities for pre -delivery care, consultation, maternal, child safety card distribution, vaccination for children. The specialty of the camp is that concerned experts will also be present for the treatment of different diseases. Mainly the presence of experts of feminine, eye, ENT, skin, dental and psychiatry etc. will be there. In this campaign, a session based on the menstrual period of adolescent girls and women will be organized. The camp will have all types of equipment for health checkup of people and will have sufficient stock of medicines. People coming to the health camp will be registered online on Ayushman Bharat Health Account (Abha App).

Camp will be organized at all health centers along with district hospital

Healthy women, strong family campaigns, district hospitals of all districts of the state as well as 8481 sub -health center (SHC), 1215 Primary Health Center (PHC), 141 Urban Primary Health Center (UPHC), 328 Urban Sub Health Center (USHC) and 312 Community Health Center (CHC) camps will be organized. Out of these, experts in district hospitals will give their free consultation till October 2. Whereas at other health centers, at least one day in 15 days, experts will consult patients. The camp will get free facilities for ECG, Ultrasound, X -ray, pathology check. Free tests and glasses will be distributed for eye patients. Free surgery facilities and the benefit of free ambulance service to patients will also be given by the Health Department.
