In Ludhiana, Punjab, the Health Department today raided several places near Tajpur and Samrala Chowk and seized a large amount of adulterated food items. This action was taken under the instructions of Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh and the leadership of Civil Surgeon Dr. Ramandeep Kaur.

Seized these stuff
The health department team seized 100 kg Khoya from a sweet shop on Tajpur Road. Similarly, 7 quintals of jaggery and 350 kg of sugar: a jaggery is captured from the construction unit.

6 bottles of soda distribution seized
The team has seized 6 bottles of soda distribution which have been sent to the lab for analysis so that the adulteration limit can be detected. At the same time, a seller was issued a challan for uncleanliness near Samrala Chowk. Similarly, a challan was issued under Section 58 for a business selling energy drink near a school in Tajpur. Officials expressed concern about the health and safety of school children.
Civil surgeon Dr. Ramandeep Kaur said that we are committed to protect people’s health. Such sudden inspections will continue, and strict action will be taken against those who violate the food security rules.
