Mohali, February 20: In a fresh trouble for Balwinder Singh Sekhon, the Punjab and Haryana High Court has ordered the arrest of theย dismissed Punjab DSP.

Notably, thenย Ferozepur City DSP (headquarters), Balwinder Singh Sekhon is facing a drug bribery case involving key BJP leaders.

During the hearing in the case last week, the Punjab and Haryana High Court had issued a contempt notice to sacked Punjab DSP Balwinder Singh Sekhon for “making comments against the judges of the HC”.

During the hearing of the drugs case last week, the Punjab and Haryana High Court said it had come to its notice that the sacked DSP had been circulating videos pertaining to the judicial proceedings that were being conducted by other judges.

Notably, Sekhon had filed a writ petition in 2021 challenging his dismissal order dated May 28, 2021.
