The court had said in the judgment that the Punjab government should keep the police personnel posted in Bhakra Nangal Dam and Lohar Control Room Water Regulation offices away from daily work. Along with this, follow the orders given in the meeting chaired by the Union Home Secretary.
Although the police wants to increase security on the Punjab Bhakra Dam, then it can increase the operation, but will not interfere in the operation system.

3 petitions have been filed in the High Court regarding the Punjab-Haryana water dispute. The first 2 petitions were filed on Saturday. The first petition was filed by Advocate Ravindra Dhul. The second petition was filed by Fatehabad Gram Panchayat. Both these petitions stated that the Punjab Police should be directed to remove the police from Bhakra Dam. Also, Haryana should be given water drainage, so that local people can get enough water for drinking and irrigation.
Haryana should be given 8500 cusecs of water, as BBMB decided in the recent meeting. The petition said that the water coming from Bhakra is a lifeline for Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Delhi.
At the same time, 2 days later, on Monday, BBM filed a petition in the High Court. BBmbb said that the Punjab Police has completely captured the dam. Police personnel have taken all the control units of the dam in their hands.
