“Petrol and diesel will not be available anywhere from 6 am on November 15 to 6 am on November 16,” said Kuldeep Rathi, director, petrol pump at Sheila Bypass, Rohtak, Haryana. The city has more than 142 petrol pumps of three different companies. These 24 hours petrol-diesel will not be provided and there will be no purchase.
During this time there will be no strike at CNG pumps. He said that one of the main demands of the association was to stop the sale of substandard diesel in the warehouses of the state by ordering base oil being imported from abroad. Excise duty and VAT imposed on dealers by oil companies should be reduced. Dealers’ commission has not been increased since 2017, it should be increased. The price of petrol pumps has gone up while the commission has remained the same. The outstanding commission for the last four years should also be paid. The weight in the state should be equal to that of Punjab.
