Veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh retired from the cricket format on Friday. Harbhajan Singh announced his retirement through social media site. This marked the end of his 23-year career.
Harbhajan, 41, wrote: “Everything is gone and today I am leaving this game which has given me everything in my life. I would like to thank all those who made the long journey of 23 years beautiful and memorable. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, thank you. ‘
Harbhajan Singh could return as a coach in one of the teams for the next IPL season. Harbhajan Singh made his last international appearance for India in 2016 at the U.S. Open. A. E. Had played in the Asia Cup T20 against. There, Harbhajan was associated with the Kolkata Knight Riders in the last IPL season.

Harbhajan Singh, popularly known as Bhajji, has played 103 Test matches for Team India. He has taken 417 wickets. In ODIs, he has taken 269 wickets in 236 matches. In T20I, Bhajji has played 28 matches for India. He has taken 25 wickets. He took 269 wickets in 236 ODIs. He has also taken 25 wickets in 28 Twenty20 Internationals. He has scored 2225 runs with two hundreds in Test cricket and 1237 runs in ODIs.
However, in the second phase of IPL 2021, he did not get a chance to play a single match. Harbhajan played his last international match in 2016.
