Varanasi, 28 October. Before Dev Diwali, a musical stream of music, dance and folk arts will flow on the ghats of Kashi. This year, Ganga Mahotsav will be organized on the sacred banks of Maa Janhavi from 1st to 4th November. With the efforts of Yogi government, renowned artists from across the country will make this cultural tradition of Kashi more grand by giving their performances at Rajghat, in which a wonderful confluence of classical, devotional and folk music will be seen. In this festival, singer Hansraj Raghuvanshi will fill the audience with devotion with his bhajans. At the same time, Padmashree Malini Awasthi will enliven the folk traditions of North India with her folk singing. Bharatnatyam dance of Padmashree Geeta Chandran will also be a special attraction of the program. At the same time, prominent artists of Kashi MP cultural program competition will also perform at Namo Ghat.

Joint Director Tourism Dinesh Kumar said that in this four-day festival, Ganga of songs, music, dance and music will flow. While the waves of folk and classical music will resonate on the stage of Ganga Mahotsav, a glimpse of traditional dance styles will also be seen. Singer Hansraj Raghuvanshi will especially awaken the feeling of reverence and devotion with his bhajans on the last day of the festival. At the same time, Padmashree Malini Awasthi will enliven the folk traditions of North India on the land of Kashi through folk singing on 3rd November. Additionally, on November 2, Padmashree Geeta Chandran will perform Bharatanatyam. The presentations under Ganga Mahotsav will start at 4 pm.
