Hand grenade found in Amritsar, BSF continues search operation

A hand grenade and 15 rounds of 9 mm cartridges were found in an abandoned condition near BOP Burj of 183 Battalion of BSF under Amritsar Police Station Bhindi Saida. After hand grenades and bullets were found, there was chaos in the area. Border Security Force (BSF) personnel immediately informed the higher authorities about the matter.

On receiving the information of this matter, the top officials of the Border Security Force went to the spot and started the investigation. Pakistanis continue to smuggle heroin or weapons across the border, due to which the authorities are investigating several facts in this case. A search operation has been started in the entire area by the jawans.

In this regard, police and BSF personnel are also interrogating many suspects in the area. Along with this, the CCTV installed around the village and the post is also being checked. After this incident, jawans have been put on alert mode on the border as well.
