Although Hamas also said that although it has accepted some parts of the proposal, other aspects still need further interactions. In his statement, Hamas expressed his desire to “start immediate interaction through mediators” to solve the details of the plan. Hamas indicated his openness to a change in Gaza’s rule, expressing his desire to transfer the right to a body of the Palestinian “independent technocrats” as part of a transitional governance structure. Hamas publicly thanked President Trump’s role in furthering the peace process and his support from Arab, Islamic and International allies. In response, Trump urged Israel to stop his bombing campaign in Gaza and emphasized that peace is possible only when Hamas is ready for talks and a ceasefire. Trump posted on Truth Social that based on the statement just released by Hamas, I believe he is ready for permanent peace.

He further said that Israel should stop the bombing on Gaza immediately, so that we can take the hostage safe and quickly! It is very dangerous to do so now. Earlier, Trump had set a deadline till Sunday evening to accept his peace plan for Hamas and warned that if the terrorist group does not follow it then “everything would be destroyed”. The scheme, describing the last chance to end hostility for Hamas by Trump, includes a 20-national proposal that outlines Gaza’s future rule.
