After this decision, the prices of IPL tickets will increase.
For example, if an audience had to take a ticket of 1000 rupees earlier, then the price was Rs 1280 after the GST was imposed on it. But now this ticket will be Rs 1400 after 40 percent GST. That is, due to tax only, the audience will have to spend about Rs 120 more. The price of the IPL ticket may increase further by adding additional fees and online booking charge of the stadium.
