Disclosing this here today, he said that the mood of the government was to reopen the international borders. He said that the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Civil Aviation headed by Home Minister Amit Shah were considering resumption of scheduled international flights in the near future.
He said that when it comes to reopening of borders and resumption of scheduled flights, everyone is on the same page. However, the Tourism Secretary further said that it was the Ministry of Home Affairs and Civil Aviation that would announce the date and lay down the required protocols.
