The Grand Alliance on Tuesday released its election manifesto titled ‘Bihar ka Tejashwi Pran’ for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections 2025 and promised to make the state crime-free. In the manifesto, the grand alliance said that under the Jan Swasthya Suraksha Yojana, free health insurance up to Rs 25 lakh will be provided to each individual and each family will get 200 units of free electricity. The Grand Alliance further said that within 20 days of the formation of the government, an Act will be passed to provide a government job to one member of every family in the state. While releasing the manifesto, Grand Alliance’s Deputy CM face Mukesh Sahni said that today we have launched the manifesto for the new Bihar. For the next 30-35 years we will work to serve the people of Bihar. We will fulfill all the aspirations of the people. We will fulfill all the promises made to the public. The people of the state are standing in support of the Grand Alliance, and we are forming the government in Bihar, there is no ‘resolution’ of NDA.

Within 20 days of the formation of the government, an Act will be passed to provide a government job to one member of every family in the state.
The old pension scheme (OPS scheme) will be implemented.
Under the ‘Mai-Behan Maan’ scheme, women will get financial assistance of Rs 2,500 per month from December 1 and Rs 30,000 per year for the next five years.
Each family will get 200 units of free electricity.
The constitutional rights of all minority communities will be protected.
The Waqf Amendment Bill will be postponed and the management of Waqf properties will be made more welfare and profitable by making it transparent.
The management of the Buddhist temples located in Bodh Gaya will be handed over to the people of the Buddhist community.
Farmers will be guaranteed purchase of all crops at minimum support price and market and market committees will be revived.
Mandis will be opened at division, sub-division and block level. APMC Act will be re-enacted.
Under the Jan Swasthya Suraksha Yojana, free health insurance up to Rs 25 lakh will be provided to every person.
The law passed by the Legislature to increase the limit of reservation to 50% in proportion to the population will be sent to the Central Government for inclusion in the Ninth Schedule of the Constitution.
The present 20% reservation for extremely backward classes in Panchayat and municipal bodies will be increased to 30%.
This limit for Scheduled Castes (SC) will be increased from 16% to 20%, and a proportionate increase in reservation for Scheduled Tribes (ST) will also be ensured.

Tejashwi Yadav promised to make Bihar a new state
Releasing the manifesto, Grand Alliance’s chief ministerial candidate and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said, “We not only have to form the government in Bihar, but also create a new Bihar.” The Grand Alliance has issued a manifesto for Bihar.
