Punjab Governor BL Purohit will hold a meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today. The meeting will be held at UT Secretariat from 10 am to 1 pm. It is believed that the Governor can discuss with the Chief Minister of both the states about running the transport (metro).
Along with the Governor, the Chief Secretary (CS) and other senior officials will also arrive at the UT Secretariat in this meeting of the Chief Ministers of the two states. Chandigarh Police-Administration has also been instructed to make adequate arrangements in view of security in the UT Secretariat. It has been clarified that no person should enter the first floor of the Secretariat without reason. The UT police department has deployed more police force in and around the secretariat daily.
