Government holiday announcement on August 20 in this district of Punjab, will stay off school-college

The Punjab Government has announced another local holiday in the state. According to the release notification, Shaheed Sant Shri Harchand Singh Longowal will be discharged in Sangrur district on August 20. All schools in the district on this day, the college and government offices will be closed.

It is worth noting that August 20 holiday was not included in the 2025 holiday calendar issued by the Punjab government. However, now the state government has issued its notification while declaration of local holidays. After this decision, government employees and students will be avail 20 August leave.
