Google Chrome becomes a threat to millions of devices

According to Statcounter.com, 11.2 percent of PCs were still running Windows 7 by December 2022 and 2.6 percent were still on the less preferred Windows 8.1. It is a wake up call for them. Let us tell you, it was launched in October 2009 and October 2013 respectively. If you’re still using one of these, chances are you’re using a dated kit that can’t be upgraded to Windows 10 or Windows 11. This means you’ll need to buy a new PC to be on the safe side.
Older versions of Chrome will continue to work
According to Google, older versions of Chrome will continue to work, but no further updates will be released for users on these operating systems.
