14 records of the country have joined the UNESCO register.
UNESCO has included the Natyashastra of Srimad Bhagwat Gita and Bharat Muni in its Memory of the World Register. Along with this, now 14 records of our country have joined the UNESCO register. Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat gave this information on X.
He said- This global honor is a celebration of India’s eternal knowledge and artistic talent. These timeless compositions are more than the literary treasury. These are philosophical grounds that have improved our way of thinking, feeling, living and expressing. It has been included on 18 April i.e. on the day of World Heritage Day.
PM Modi tweeted on X and described it as a proud moment for every Indian worldwide. He said- Including Gita and Natyashastra in UNESCO’s Memory of the World Register is the global recognition of our eternal knowledge and rich culture. Gita and Natyashastra have nurtured civilization and consciousness for centuries. Their insight continues to inspire the world.

‘Ramcharitmanas’ Goswami Tulsidas wrote in Awadhi language in the 16th century and is considered one of the best works of Indian literature and Hinduism. At the same time, Panchatantra is a compilation of Pandit Vishnu Sharma’s Panchatantra stories.
