This crisis of starvation has come at a time when Israel has blocked the food, fuel, water and other human supply in Gaza for about five months. Israel had banned the entry of all types of goods in Gaza in March, but since May it has allowed a little assistance, which is being given mainly through the controversial United States-backed Gaza Humanist Foundation (GHF). According to the United Nations, since the GHF campaign began, Israeli forces have killed more than 1,000 Palestinians in search of food assistance, most of which were killed near the distribution centers of the group. According to doctors in Gaza, the 81 Palestinians killed on Tuesday include at least 31 support people.
