A worker died after a gas leak in this company of Barnala.
An employee of the factory was killed in a gas leak incident at IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Limited in village Fatehgarh Chhanna in Barnala district of Punjab. While the condition of 4 others remains critical.

However, the mill owner has made every effort to suppress the incident. Due to this, the body of the deceased was not even taken to the Civil Hospital for post -mortem even after 10 hours. The body of the deceased is kept in a private hospital in the city. Barnala DSP Satveer Singh has confirmed the incident.
DSP giving information
DSP Satveer Singh said that gas was leaked in the IOL unit at Fatehgarh Chhanna at around 5.30 am this morning. One person has died in this accident, while four are in critical condition.
He said that Haryana, a resident of Anmol Champa, died during treatment, while Vikas Sharma resident Hisar has been kept on ventilator. Apart from this, Yugam Khanna and Lovepreet Singh have been referred to CMC Ludhiana.
He said that after this incident, the police of Dhanula police station have also reached the spot and is investigating the incident. Director of factory and factory officers have also reached there on the occasion.
