Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath presided over the grand Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram temple in Ayodhya on Thursday. The ritual started at 11 am and lasted for about 45 to 50 minutes, including traditional Vedic chanting and rituals. The event was the last day of the three -day Pran Pratishtha ceremony, which began on 3 June. Today, Yogi Adityanath, who is celebrating his 53rd birthday, performed the aarti of Ramlala on the ground floor of the temple. After offering prayers in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, Chief Minister reached the first floor of the temple for the life of Ram Darbar and started a ritual there.

Yogi Adityanath attended the Ram temple in Ayodhya and participated in the Pran -Pratishtha program of Shri Ram Darbar and other Devas. On the first floor of the Ram temple on the occasion of Ganga Dussehra, the Chief Minister participated in the Darshan -Pujan program on the occasion of the court of Maryada Purushottam Lord Rama and the life of eight Deities.

According to Hindu scriptures, Ganga Dussehra is the day when the holy river Ganga came to the earth with the jatas of Lord Shiva, inspired by the penance of King Bhagiratha. This day is considered very auspicious. Anil Mishra, trustee of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust, said that the life-prestige ceremony was held between 11:25 am to 11:40 pm. Apart from the main Ram Darbar, eight other temples were also anointed inside the Ram temple complex.
Trustee Anil Mishra said that the ceremonies were organized with entire religious rituals and Vedic mantras. Earlier, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced the life-prestige ceremony on the Social Media Forum X. In his message, he said, “On the first floor of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in the holy birthplace Ayodhya Dham of Lord Shri Ram, it is getting the ultimate good fortune to witness the program organized for the life-prestige of holy gods in Ashta Devalayas including Shri Ram Darbar.
