A loan of 30 thousand rupees in Sherpur Kalan, a village of Jagraon in Ludhiana killed a young man. Accused Yadwinder Singh killed his friend Kamalpreet Singh (23) by smelling poisonous items. The police is investigating the case.

Kamalpreet’s father Kulwant Singh said that his son used to be friends with Yadwinder. A few days ago, Kamalpreet borrowed 30 thousand rupees to buy iPhone from Yadavinder without telling him. Yadvinder was constantly doing the process when the money was not returned.
Leave outside the house in an unconscious state
At 10 am on Wednesday morning, Yadvinder took Kamalpreet on his motorcycle. An hour later, he escaped leaving Kamalpreet outside his house in a semi -unconscious condition. By the time the family saw Kamalpreet, she had died.

Parents employed in education department
Both the parents of the deceased are working in the Education Department. Father Kulwant Singh Moga is a class IV employee in Beed Badhni Government School in Moga. Mother Jasvir Kaur is a government teacher in Badhani Kala. BCom Pass Kamalpreet was the eldest of three siblings and was looking for a job. The police have registered a case of murder against Yadvinder on the complaint of the deceased’s father.

SHO reached the spot after the incident
On receiving the information of the incident, SHO Surjit Singh of police station Sadar and in -charge Tarsem Singh of police post Ghalib Kalan reached the spot. The police have registered a case under sections 84 and 103 BNS (Indian Justice Code) against the accused Yadwinder Singh on the basis of the statement of the deceased’s father.
Police sent the body for postmortem and after investigation, the body was handed over to the family members. SHO Surjit Singh said that the case is being seriously investigated and the accused will be arrested soon.
