Imran Khan, the former prime minister of Pakistan arrested in a case of corruption, was produced in a special court in the capital Islamabad on Wednesday amid tight police security. Meanwhile, the anti-corruption regulator demanded 14 days of Imran’s custody.

Due to this, after the arrest of Imran Khan on Tuesday, there are chances of further outbreak of violent protests in Pakistan. So far, more than 1000 supporters of Imran have been arrested. The situation is worse in Pakistan’s Punjab, where the state government has sought the help of the Pakistan Army to quell the rioters.
