Former CM Farooq Abdullah Hospital in Jammu and Kashmir, treatment continues after stomach infection

Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and National Conference President Farooq Abdullah was admitted to a hospital in Srinagar on Saturday after a stomach infection. His party leaders gave this information. According to him, 87 -year -old Abdullah had an infection earlier this week and has been admitted to a private hospital in Srinagar for treatment. Significantly, Abdullah, who was the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir twice, was unwell for the last few days, but he is likely to be discharged soon. A National Conference leader said that he (Abdullah) was not good for the last few days, but now his condition is getting better. They are likely to be discharged today or tomorrow.

Although Farooq is not feeling well for the last few days, he is still active in politics. Recently, he appreciated the efforts of his son Omar Abdullah for reviving tourism in Jammu and Kashmir after the deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam. 26 people lost their lives in this terrorist attack, most of which were tourists. After this attack, there was a military struggle between India and Pakistan for four days. Senior Abdullah welcomed the reopening of more tourist destinations in the Union Territory (UT), but insisted on the need for inclusive development and urged to pay equal attention to areas such as Chenab and Pir Panjal.

The administration, led by Omar Abdullah, took action fast and effectively to restore the confidence of tourists, re-establishing reputation as a safe and welcome destination of Jammu and Kashmir.
