God confirmed that the government is taking the recent murder of Abdul Rahim alias Imtiaz in Mangaluru very seriously and immediate action will be taken to prevent any recurrence of communal violence. God told the media that the government has identified South Kannada, Udupi and Shivamogga districts as sensitive areas.
The Government of Karnataka has decided to implement communal violence prevention task force with immediate effect. Home Minister Ji Parmeshwar made this announcement after incidents of violent killings in recent weeks in coastal and central districts. God confirmed that the government is taking the recent murder of Abdul Rahim alias Imtiaz in Mangaluru very seriously and immediate action will be taken to prevent any recurrence of communal violence. God told the media that the government has identified South Kannada, Udupi and Shivamogga districts as sensitive areas.
He said that we will take action without delay. If this happens every time, then we cannot sit silent. We will make the law more strict. He said that after earlier incidents, an official order has already been issued for the formation of communal violence prevention task force and the government has now resolved to review the task force and implement it with immediate effect. It will be the responsibility of the Director General of Police of the state to take action in this regard.
The Home Minister said that we will consider South Kannada, Udupi and Shivamogga districts as sensitive areas. The government will take action without delay to prevent communal violence. Dr. Parmeshwar also announced that half the personnel working in the current anti -Naxal task force would be re -appointed to the new active communal violence prevention task force. He said that we will give them necessary powers and privileges. We will pay more attention to three districts.
