Forest department’s big action successful due to the efforts of Union Minister Scindia, 275 bigha forest land in Shivpuri is freed from encroachment

With the continuous efforts and active guidance of Union Information and North Eastern Region Development Minister and local MP Jyotiraditya Scindia, the Forest Department in Satanwada Forest Zone of Shivpuri district took major action on Saturday and freed 275 bigha forest land from encroachment.
It is noteworthy that Union Minister Scindia had raised the issue on priority in review meetings with the concerned authorities several times to remove the illegal occupation on this forest land for a long time, resulting in decisive action possible.
In Beetoni village Beat Thathi (RF 481, 482 and PF 913), the illegal siege done by Ballu Sikarwar, Punjab Singh Gurjar, Pran Singh Gurjar and Shishupal Singh Chauhan was brought to the forest department respectively, respectively, demolishing the illegal siege done by Pran Singh Gurjar and Shishupal Singh Chauhan with the help of 9 JCB machines.
After the said action came to the notice of Union Minister and Guna MP Jyotiraditya Scindia, Forest Officer Sudhanshu Yadav and Subnisting Officer A.K. Under the direction of Prabhanjan Reddy, under the leadership of Ranger Madhav Singh Sikarwar, it was concluded with the joint cooperation of the Revenue Department, Police and Village Forest Committee.
Plantation will be done on vacant land
The work of restoring greenery by sowing seeds of species like Khair, Acacia and Prosopis has been started on the land vacated by the forest department with immediate effect. A large plantation campaign will be carried out in the coming days.
Union Minister Scindia appreciated
Scindia, reacting to this successful campaign, appreciated the strong action of the Forest Department and said that this initiative is an important and admirable step towards conservation of biodiversity of the state and balance of environment.
