Foreign travel was satisfactory for investment: Stalin

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin said on Monday that 10 new companies have come forward for allied undertakings, expressing confidence in the state, while 17 companies have decided to expand their businesses.

He was warmly welcomed by state ministers and officials at Chennai Airport when the Chief Minister returned from Germany and Britain. On this occasion, Stalin said that he has ensured big investment for the state, which is why opposition parties are not able to tolerate their visit.

Soon after arriving here, he told reporters, “My one -week journey of Germany and Britain was satisfactory and successful. Through this, investment of Rs 15,516 crore has been attracted, which will provide employment to 17,613 people. Overall, 33 MoUs were signed. My foreign trip has been very successful. ”

Stalin said that due to a favorable and better industrial environment in Tamil Nadu, 17 companies have decided to expand their business here instead of going to other states.
