Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, who puts India’s side in front of the world in the midst of Indo-Pakistan tension, has made his X account private. This means that only verified users can see their account, or can comment on their posts.
In fact, on May 10, after the announcement of ceasefire between India Pakistan, many users were making online invoices on their posts. Even his old pictures were being shared with his family with which his daughter’s mobile number and many types of comments were being made. After this, he secured his account.

After his move, many users on social media are condemning their online trolling. Users say that the senior officer should take action against those who troll at personal level.

Trolling started after the announcement of ceasefire
On Sunday 10 May, Vikram Misri gave information about the ceasefire between India and Pakstan at the press briefing. However, a few hours later, the neighboring country started firing on the Indo-Pak border. In such a situation, X users started comments on Vikram Misri.

Vikram is the 35th Foreign Secretary of the country
In the year 2024, Vikram Misri took charge in the country’s 35th Foreign Secretary’s room. Among them, Vinay Mohan Quatra was working as Foreign Secretary.
From January 2022 to 2024, Vikram Misri was working as a deputy of the National Security Advisor of India i.e. NSA. From 2019 to 2021 he was an Indian ambassador in China. He has been a private secretary as the Prime Minister of Inder Kumar Gujral, Manmohan Singh and Narendra Modi. Apart from this, he has also been an ambassador of India in Spain and Myanmar.

Misri came to civil service and came to civil service
Vikram Misri was born on 7 November 1964 in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. He belongs to the family of a Kashmiri Pandits. He had his early studies from Burn Hall School and DAV School in Srinagar. He has also studied at Scindia School in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. He graduated in history from Hindu College, Delhi University. After this, he did MBA from Javier Labor Relations Institute in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.
Before joining government service, he served in the advertising sector for three years, including Lintas India (Mumbai) and contract advertising (Delhi). He joined the Indian Foreign Service (IFS) in 1989.
