All 23 districts of Punjab are in the wrap of floods. Although the water level of dams has gone down the danger mark, but more than 2,000 of the state have been broken. Government, administration and social welfare organizations are constantly engaged in relief and rescue tasks.

On Tuesday, the Prime Minister Modi surveys the air-affected areas of Punjab and announced Rs. 1600 crore to the state. On this, the Governor Gulab Chand Kataria said the Prime Minister has announced to pay a token amount of Rs. 1600 crore. The remaining amount will be paid after the assessment by various agencies. Punjab will get 100 per cent compensation. The Prime Minister has made sure no shortage.
