Accused Nachtar Singh is said to be the father -in -law of Congress leader Sukhjinder Randhawa, while Ravinder Singh is his brother -in -law. The Phlahal police are conducting raids to catch the three.
Those killed have been identified as Vinay Pratap Singh Brar, who belonged to the village’s prestigious zamindar family and his 25 -year -old son Suraj Pratap Singh Brar. According to the local people, Vinay Pratap had an old fight with a relative in the village.

Action based on daughter’s statements
The FIR has been lodged on the complaint of Sajia Brar, daughter of the deceased Vinayapratap Singh Brar. In which Sajia says that this whole incident was seen by her relative Darshan Singh. Actually, both the deceased Vinayapratap Singh and Surya Pratap Singh Brar went to visit their fields.
Meanwhile, in front of his car, accused Davinder Singh parked the tractor. An unknown person was sitting on the tractor. Who attacked his father Vinayapratap with a baseball bat holding in his hand. Seeing this, Surya Pratap also brought the baseball bat kept in his car.
But accused Davinder Singh fired two bullets from his father Vinayapratap Singh and two bullets on Surya Pratap Singh. After which both of them died on the spot.
The dead bodies of both the dead found at the scene.
Murdered due to ground dispute
Sajia has alleged that her family is having a land fight with Davinder Singh, Nachtar Singh and Ravinder Singh Babbi. Davinder Singh and unknown person have carried out the incident with planning with Nachtar Singh and Ravinder Singh Babbi. After which the police have registered a case against the accused of the three and started action.
The complaint also said that the attack was pre -planned and in the backdrop of the land dispute, the three accused together carried out the murder.
All three accused absconding
The Malot police station has registered a case under serious sections like murder, conspiracy and use of illegal weapons and started raids to arrest the accused. However, the three named accused are currently absconding and the police is looking for him.
