The Lieutenant Governor told the members of the Indian Chamber of Commerce on Saturday evening that so far only one such case has come to light in Kashmir in which a local person has joined the terrorists.

Sinha said, “Investments are being made in areas like Anantnag and Pulwama districts of Kashmir Valley. More industrial units have been set up in Pulwama than in Srinagar. The fear of terrorists and the entire system that helped them is almost over. ”

He said that during the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign in Pulwama district, which was in the headlines for the first wrong reasons, heavy participation of youth was seen in rallies. He said, “Thousands of youth came out with the tricolor of India and the world saw it. There were many villages of Shopian and Pulwama where neither police nor government officials went. Now people of those villages are also joining it.
