Mehbooba wrote on X- Such a statement of senior Kashmiri leader like Farooq Abdullah can pose a threat to Kashmiri students, traders and laborers living in the rest of the country.
He said- This will give some media channels a chance to discredit Kashmiris and Muslims. In fact, there was a terrorist attack on 22 April in Baysaran Valley of Pahalgam. 26 tourists lost their lives in this.

Pahalgam attack killing humanity
Farooq Abdullah reached the house of Syed Adil Hussain Shah, who was killed on the Pahalgam attack on Saturday. During this, he said- Those who have attacked Pahalgam have killed humanity. The doors of hell are open to them.

Farooq said- Indus Water Treaty should be reviewed
Farooq Abdullah also demanded a review of the Indus Water Treaty. He said that water is ours, so the right to use should also be ours. In Jammu, there was a plan to bring water from Chenab on the lack of water, but the World Bank did not cooperate. Now work should start again.
April 28: CM Omar Abdullah’s emotional address on Pahalgam attack

A special session of one day was called in Jammu and Kashmir on 28 April for the Pahalgam attack.
