Khalsa alleged that the police did not present the challan in 90 days in collusion with the accused. This gave the accused bail. On the disclosure of the case, the SHO was shifted to the line.
No action against betel nut
The farmer union alleges that no action has been taken against the main accused who committed the murder by giving betel nut. Farmer leaders say that all evidence and witnesses have been given to the police. DSP Raikot was contacted several times, but he kept evasive.
Farmer leaders warned
Farmer leaders who met SSP Dr. Ankur Gupta have warned that if action is not taken soon, all the farmers’ organizations will unite and sit down. The SSP said that they are new to the jagra and will take action soon after taking information about the case.
The dispute started like this
Amandeep Singh alias Amna Pandori had a love marriage with Gagandeep Kaur, a resident of village Talwadi Rai. Danveer Singh alias DC Nurpura was the most help in getting both of them married. DC Nurpura, who first got a love marriage, later tried to break Amna’s house and started provoking Gagandeep Kaur against Amna, who went to England.
Accused Nurpura told Gagandeep Kaur that Amna does not have any house, land property and she has done a love marriage by hiding her caste. The controversy started after telling Gagandeep Kaur to her husband Amna Pandori and it ended with the murder of Amna.
Shot killed Farmer leader Amandeep Singh alias Amna Pandori was shot dead on the night of Diwali. In this case, the police had registered a case against three accused including Jaspreet Singh and Danveer Singh. The police arrested two accused one after the other.
Accused got bail due to police negligence
When questioned by the accused, the accused revealed the names of their colleagues. During this time, the police did not present a run in 90 days. The accused got the direct benefit. The court granted bail to the accused. Regarding this, the then SSP Navneet Singh Bains took action on the SHO and started a departmental investigation.
But now even after 5 months, the police have not caught the absconding accused nor have taken any action against the person who committed the murder.
