Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Diksha Bhavre said on Sunday that Pan Singh, a resident of Kasganj district, had gone to his brother’s house Rakhi with his wife Roli (35) and was accompanied by his four -year -old son cashew.
He said that while returning on Sunday, Pan Singh’s motorcycle went into deep water flowing due to the strong flow of the Ganges river on the culvert of Bharatpur on the two and a half ghat Shamshabad road in Mirzapur police station area and he, Roli and cashews and cashews flowed into the water. He said that on the information, police and divers reached the spot immediately and after much effort, husband Paan Singh and Roli (35) were taken out.
He said that Roli was rushed to the hospital but died during treatment. He told that his son cashew is not yet known and divers are constantly trying.
Diksha said that Shamshabad Dhai Ghat road has been completely closed. He said that the flood waters of the Ganges river are flowing up to two feet above on this route. He informed that police have been deployed on the spot and people have been advised to use any other way. He said that the police have sent Roli’s body for postmortem, while divers are searching for a four -year -old child.
