Ludhiana police have arrested a fake constable. The accused has been identified as Kulwinder Singh alias Jot (30), a resident of Sighwa Bet. The police have recovered the Punjab Police uniform, ID card and bike from the accused.

According to Amritpal Sharma, SHO of Thana Division No-8, he was informed that a person wanders in fake uniform of constable. He often used to brush and blackmail people. On the basis of information, the police blocked Jandu Chowk. The accused was caught walking on a bike wearing a uniform of Hawaldar rank.
Investigation revealed that the accused is a security guard. He used to roam in fake police uniform in the morning and evening. The police have obtained remand by presenting the accused in court. The police have registered a case and started questioning the accused.
