There was a blast in the rice mill in Bahraich. 5 people died in the accident, while 3 are in critical condition. When this accident happened on Friday morning, 8-10 laborers were working in the mill. Then the mill’s dryer exploded. After this, the fire broke out. Smoke was filled in the mill in a while. Due to this, the workers started falling unconscious and falling here and there.
Hearing the screams, people around reached the spot. All were rushed to the hospital. Here doctors declared 5 laborers dead. DM Monica Rani reached the spot as soon as the accident was reported. He said- paddy was being dried in the rice mill, then the accident happened.

I saved my life and ran away from there …. At the time when the accident took place, Lavkush, who lives in Shravasti, was also working in the mill. He told- We were drying the paddy, then suddenly the dryer burst. This caused a fire. We tried to extinguish the fire.
During this time, the entire rice mill was filled with smoke. People started falling unconscious. Seeing this, I saved my life and ran away and called the people around. After this everyone was taken out.

3 of Kannauj and one laborer from Bihar dies The deceased have been identified as Ghaffar Ali (40), Bablu (28), Rajnesh (35), Shravasti resident Hur (50) and Bihar resident Bittu Shah (30). At the same time, treatment of Sukhdev, Devi Prasad and Surendra Shukla continues in the emergency of the Medical College.
CMS MM Tripathi of the district hospital said that 8 people who fainted with suffocation in the factory were brought to the district hospital. 5 of these people were dead. 3 people were referred to the Medical College after primary treatment.
