Every vote given to BJP will end Kerala’s sanctity: Vijayan’s big political attack

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has appealed to the people of the state to understand the implications of supporting the BJP and said that “one vote given to the BJP” will destroy the sanctity of the state. He alleged that the BJP is trying to change the cultural traditions associated with the prestigious Onam festival of the state. Speaking at an event, Chief Minister Vijayan expressed concern over a picture shown to him, which depicts Mahavishnu, Vamana and Mahabali in a way that gives a sense of change in Onam’s traditional story, where Mahabali’s arrival is celebrated.

The Chief Minister said that there was a program in Ernakulam recently in which Home Minister Amit Shah attended. The celebration of Onam was celebrated with great pomp last week. They will change Onam. On Onam day, an important person came to meet me. I will not take the name. He showed me a message on his phone. He showed a picture in which Mahavishnu was. Vamana is in front of Mahavishnu, and Mahabali is visible at the feet of Vamana. This means that they want to change Onam during which Mahabali comes.

Chief Minister Vijayan urged people not to support BJP. He further said that they are trying to turn whatever we experience today. Therefore, not only politicians, but every person in the state should understand that every vote given to the BJP will destroy the sanctity of Kerala. In Kerala, the festival of harvesting and returning to Raja Mahabali’s home is celebrated with various rituals. On this occasion, people gathered in temples from morning to worship. This year, Onam festival started from August 26 and today the concluding day of this festival is being celebrated in Kerala, Thiruvonam.
