In the case of DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar, Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria’s big statement has come out. Speaking on the case of DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar in Nabha today, the Governor said that despite having such a large administrative structure, nothing can be more unfortunate than that when no one knows how much money the employee in such a big position is collecting in his house, why we have not seen it for so long.
Governor Kataria said that Rs 7 crore cash has been recovered from Bhullar’s house, which shows that it did not happen overnight. He said that this money was collected for a long time. The Governor described the CBI arrest as a big step and said that it is easy to talk about corruption-free administration, but it is very difficult to make it a reality.
Such an incident by a senior officer shakes the entire system. Kataria also admitted that it happened in front of our eyes, so we also have a responsibility. He assured the people that the public’s faith in the law is intact and the culprits will not be spared.
It should be said that the CBI has released the complete details of the belongings found in the house and farmhouse of DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar of Ropar Range of Punjab Police. 7.5 crore cash, two and a half kilos of gold, jewellery, luxury watches, weapons, bank accounts, details and more than 50 property documents were found from the house in Chandigarh.
