Emergency landing at Mumbai airport, 75 passengers stuck life

A SpiceJet aircraft from Kandla in Gujarat had to make an emergency landing at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai on Friday, when the outer wheel of the aircraft fell on the runway while flying. An airline spokesman said that the aircraft landed safely in Mumbai and no passenger was hurt. The aircraft took off from Kandla Airport to Mumbai. The outer wheel of the aircraft was seen on the runway of the early point of the aircraft. In the wake of the incident, an emergency was declared at the Mumbai Airport.

The spokesperson further stated that on 12 September, an outer wheel of the SpiceJet Q400 aircraft flying from Kandla to Mumbai was found on the runway after flying. The aircraft continued its journey to Mumbai and landed safely. After the smooth landing, the aircraft reached the terminal with its power and all the passengers normally landed. On 12 September 2025 at 3:51 pm, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was making emergency landing at the International Airport (CSMIA) after receiving information about a technical failure of an aircraft coming from Kandla.

It said that a complete emergency was declared as a precaution. The aircraft took off safely at runway 27 and all passengers and crew are safe. Shortly after, normal operations started again. Air India flight coming from Mumbai canceled landing in Delhi. An Air India flight coming from Mumbai canceled the landing at Delhi Airport for technical reasons. He reported that the aircraft operated as AI 2910 was safely landed in its second attempt after about ten minutes. A passenger on the aircraft told that the pilot told him that the first landing was not possible due to technical fault.
